Utility Boxes

There are many jobs are utility boxes can handle. You can find our boxes on the back of E-Z-Go cars that groom the baseball diamonds and soccer fields. You may see our boxes on the back of Yamaha's that run around local and state fairs used to keep the grounds clean. If you are on a military base, you may even find our boxes on the the back of Yamaha's that deliver supplies. Steel or Aluminum?

Our utility boxes are available in either steel or aluminum. Both boxes measure 43"W x 30"L x 8.5"H and have a 500 lbs. capacity. Each box is sold as a universal utility box accompanied by a hardware kit specific to the application. For E-Z-GO, Medalist/TXT, and Club Car applications, the hardware kit depends on the type of box (steel or aluminum). For Yamaha G14 and up, one kit is used for both steel and aluminum boxes.

The steel box is constructed from 16 gauge hot-rolled steel for the main form and sides. The tailgate is constructed from heavy-duty diamond plate. Like all of our steel conversion kits, this box goes through a multi-stage cleaning process before the industrial-strength gloss black powder coat is applied. It is an attractive box that will offer years of service.

The aluminum box offers an attractive, brite finish while providing strength and versatility. It is nearly half the weight of our steel box and is made from 0.090 inch smooth aluminum for the form and bright dipped aluminum tread plate for the sides and tailgate. This box offers everything that our steel box offers with the added benefit of improved weather resistance.
